Electronic Test Technician

Electronic Test Technician required by leading manufacturing company, based in North Somerset. The successful Electronic Test Technician will be responsible for  carrying out production testing and fault find finding of returned items.

Main Duties – Electronic Test Technician

Evaluating equipment performance to ensure compliance.
Carrying out production testing and fault finding of returned items.
Providing fault-finding down to component level on through-hole and surface mount PCBs.
Maintaining and calibrating test equipment to meet required standards.
Working cross-functionally to troubleshoot and resolve issues at root cause.
Contributing to the development of testing standards and documentation.
Ensuring quality standards and records are consistently upheld.
Feeding back to Design and Engineering teams and contributing to design reviews.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Electronic Test Technician

A background within a similar position gained within a manufacturing or engineering or equivalent environment.
Experience of fault finding to component level of PCBs.
An understanding of continuous improvement processes.
Excellent communication and numeracy skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Strong problem solving skills.
