Butler Ross are currently supporting an aerospace / defence organisation who are looking to recruit a Commercial Manager on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with some prior commercial experience, who are looking for a rewarding position managing high-impact and high-importance contracts.

The salary on offer for this opportunity is £55-£60,000 and it operates on a hybrid-working basis at their office in the Bournemouth area: 3-days in, 2 from home.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading commercial activities from bid to closeout; the full contract life-cycle
Advising stakeholders on commercial /contractual matters
Negotiating and managing contracts with clients and suppliers
Driving supplier performance and risk management strategies.
Ensuring contract success and continuous improvement

You will have the following skills and experience:

Proven experience across contract and commercial management
Proven negotiation skills
Strong stakeholder management capabilities
Ideally - experience within defence, government departments, or similar organisations.
