Are you an experienced payroll assistant who is available for work immediately and open to a long term contract?

We are hiring for a well known accountancy practice based in Paisley, who are looking for an experienced payroll assistant ideally with practice experience to support them for a period of 9 months.

This is a 9 month FTC, working 35 hours per week Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, you will ideally be available to start work immediately.

What You'll Be Doing

Processing a number of weekly and monthly payrolls
Managing pension submissions and NI liabilities
Communicating with clients directly to tailor payroll processes
Building experience with recurring client accounts
Supporting the payroll seniors and gradually taking ownership of responsibilitiesWho We're Looking For

Confident, proactive, and not afraid to ask questions
A strong communicator with a professional but approachable manner
Comfortable dealing directly with clients
A team player who's happy to get stuck in
Down-to-earth and adaptable - this is a relaxed, no-drama kind of officeExperience in a payroll is essential, and if that's within an accountancy practice or payroll bureau, even better!
