The Opportunity

We’re looking for an Assistant Site Manager to join a leading Tier 1 main contractor on a large-scale Industrial & Logistics development in Kettering. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their construction career and develop within a well-established, supportive, and forward-thinking team.

You’ll be working under the guidance of an experienced management team on a prestigious project - gaining exposure to all aspects of site delivery, health & safety, logistics, quality control, and subcontractor management.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Support the Site Management team in the day-to-day running of site operations.

*

Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks.

*

Ensure site health, safety and environmental standards are maintained.

*

Assist with coordination of subcontractors and monitoring of works.

*

Record progress, maintain site diaries, and support QA documentation.

*

Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and visitors to site.

*

Work closely with the Site and Project Manager to ensure programme and quality targets are achieved.

Requirements:

*

Relevant site experience (sandwich placement or early career assistant role acceptable).

*

SSSTS or SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid are essential.

*

A genuine passion for construction and career progression.

*

Excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills.

*

Eager to learn and develop under the mentorship of an experienced project team.
