Perform accurate and timely reconciliations of financial accounts.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Collaborate with other departments to gather relevant financial data.
Maintain detailed records of reconciliation activities.
Support month-end and year-end financial processes as required.
Identify opportunities for process improvements in reconciliations.
Assist in preparing financial reports for internal stakeholders.Profile
A successful Reconciliations Specialist should have:
Previous experience in accounting or finance, ideally within the not-for-profit sector.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
