Lecturer in Electrical Installation

Salary: £36,000 - £46,000 + Package
Whether you are an experienced Electrician or an established Lecturer or Assessor, we are seeking an Electrical Installation Lecturer to support learners throughout their apprenticeship programme. In this college-based role, you will deliver high-quality teaching and assessment, conduct progress reviews and portfolio checks, and work closely with learners and employers to monitor achievement. You will ensure that all learners meet the required standards and develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed to succeed at each stage of their programme.

Role Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching to Electrical Installation learners across apprenticeship and college-based programmes
Plan, prepare, and assess learning in line with curriculum requirements and awarding body standards
Monitor learner progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback to support achievement
Support apprentices and students in preparing for End Point Assessment where applicable
Conduct reviews and liaise effectively with employers to support apprentice progress
Maintain accurate and up-to-date learner records, assessment evidence, and documentation
Ensure teaching practice reflects current industry standards, legislation, and Health & Safety requirements
Contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance, and continuous improvement activitiesEssential Requirements
Have an Electrician or Assessors back ground in installation
A Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Domestic and Commercial Electrical Installation
Substantial, relevant industry experience
An Assessor and/or IQA qualification (desirable)
Experience in teaching or assessing
Be a CSCS Gold Car holder
Wiring Regulations
Strong knowledge of Apprenticeship Standards and EPA requirements
Confidence using IT systems and digital tools
