Service Care Legal are partnered with a Legal 500–ranked law firm in East London to recruit a Housing Solicitor to join its highly regarded Housing Team.The firm is well known for its work in housing law and has acted in a number of leading cases in the field. The team is recognised by both Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners and is committed to protecting and advancing housing rights.

ROLE:                  Housing Solicitor
LOCATION:         East London
SALARY:              £35,000 to £50,000+ per annum (DOE / PQE / interview)
PQE:                     3 years’+

Please note that this role offers hybrid working.

The Role
 
Handling a varied caseload including homelessness, possession (rented and mortgaged), disrepair, unlawful eviction and social housing allocation matters
Advising and representing clients in complex and sensitive housing cases, including related community care and mental health matters
Working as part of a specialist, collaborative team on high-quality and impactful work
The Candidate
 
Qualified solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE and solid experience in housing law
Strong technical knowledge and a client-focused approach, particularly when acting for vulnerable individuals
Committed to housing rights, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
