An outstanding and well-respected primary school in Hertfordshire is seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their committed Early Years and Key Stage 1 team from September 2025. The Role:

As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners across Years 1 and 2

*

Support pupils in developing foundational skills in reading, writing, and mathematics

*

Use assessment data effectively to monitor progress and tailor teaching

*

Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that motivates and supports all pupils

*

Collaborate closely with your year group partners and wider staff team to ensure consistency and share best practice

*

Communicate effectively with parents and carers to foster strong home-school partnerships

What We’re Looking For:

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Key Stage 1

*

A strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and progression within Years 1 and 2

*

Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills

*

Enthusiasm, creativity, and a reflective approach to teaching

*

Commitment to inclusive education and supporting every child’s development
