We are supporting a successful and well-organised secondary school in North Birmingham that prides itself on high expectations, consistency, and creating a calm, purposeful learning environment. They are now seeking a Cover Supervisor who can step confidently into lessons across a range of subjects to maintain continuity of learning.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Supervising students during lessons where the usual teacher is absent

Delivering pre-set resources and instructions with clarity and confidence

Managing behaviour effectively using the school’s established systems

Promoting a focused, respectful learning environment

Reporting back on lesson engagement and student conduct

You Will Need:

Experience working with young people (youth work, tutoring, teaching assistant roles or similar)

Strong communication and classroom management skills

A confident, professional approach and ability to follow systems

A genuine interest in education and supporting student progress
