Tradewind Recruitment is working with secondary schools across Leicester and Leicestershire that are seeking Cover Supervisors for full-time, long-term positions starting this September. This role is ideal for someone looking for stability and the chance to become a valued part of a school community. Some positions have the potential for an ASAP start.

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll step in to lead classes during teacher absences, keeping students on track with their learning and maintaining a positive environment. No planning or marking required - just confident classroom presence and a commitment to helping students succeed.

What the role includes:

Delivering pre-prepared lessons to students in Years 7-11

Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students stay engaged

Working closely with teaching staff to support learning

Becoming a familiar and trusted adult for students over time

Contributing to the wider school where needed, including form time or break duties

We're looking for someone who:

Has experience working with young people, ideally in a school setting

Is confident leading a classroom and managing behaviour

Wants a long-term role where they can really settle in

Is reliable, proactive, and ready to get involved in school life
