Position: Labourer

Salary: £16.14 per hour (Umbrella)

Contract Type: 3 weeks+

Start date: Monday 23rd June

Daniel Owen are currently recruiting for CSCS Labourers to join a team on a high-profile commercial refurbishment project. The role requires someone with a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting skilled tradespeople (e.g., carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with day-to-day tasks
Manual handling, moving and distributing materials, tools, and equipment around site
Site preparation and clearance, ensuring walkways and work areas remain clean and hazard-free
Helping to erect and dismantle temporary structures such as barriers and signage
Adhering to all health and safety procedures and reporting any potential risks
Taking direction from the site supervisor and project managers

Essential Requirements:

Valid CSCS card (Green card minimum)
Previous experience working on construction or refurbishment sites
Good understanding of health and safety protocols on active building sites
Physically fit and able to undertake manual tasks
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and professional in conduct
Full PPE (hard hat, safety boots, high-visibility vest/jacket)
