Working for a specialist structural steel contractor, a temporary/contractor is required for 8 to 12-week holiday cover. 

Rate/salary and hours of work:

£17.00 to £19.00 per hour (Umbrella/CIS) 

07:30 to 16:30 

The role includes the following: 

- Uploading and updating of CSV files (relating to production schedules) 

- Stock/inventory checking 

- Dealing with incoming deliveries and ensuring correct allocation to Stores department

- Telephone calls to sub-contractors to ensure production time-scales are being met 

- Liaising with drawing office regarding production queries 

Experience/knowledge: 

- Engineering / workshop background

- Good IT skills (especially Excel) 

- Able to read engineering drawings very advantageous
