Head Chef

Yellow 42 Recruitment are working on behalf of a 4-star hotel in Glasgow to find a motived Head Chef to join their well-established team.  An exciting opportunity in a busy hotel offering full restaurant service and banqueting facilities.

The main responsibilities in this role as Head Chef is to ensure the brigade delivers the very best, both service and product.  You will create exciting menu’s, you will ensure the profitability of the department, comply with all health and safety regulations, train and develop members of the team, and ensure that all compliance is completed.

A minimum of two years’ experience as a senior chef in a similar environment.

Proven track record and ability to cover all areas of the kitchen.

A genuine passion for creating and delivering first class consistent food.

Excellent communication skills.

Be able to cope under pressure and maintaining a positive attitude.

Fantastic organisation skills.

Confidence in controlling costs and minimising waste.

Passion and care for your team to drive their progression and build the team.

The Reward

A competitive salary of £50,000 is on offer for the Head Chef role along with excellent company benefits.
