Registered Manager – New 2-Bed EBD Children's Home
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £51,000 per annum

We are proud to be supporting our client in the recruitment of a Registered Manager for a brand-new 2-bed residential children’s home in Nottingham. This home will support children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), and offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced leader to play a pivotal role in its setup and ongoing success.

About the Role:

As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and development of the home. You will ensure the service meets and exceeds regulatory standards while providing a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment that supports young people to achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the registration process with Ofsted and prepare the home for opening

* Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing staff team

* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and best practice standards

* Develop and implement individualised care plans and risk assessments

* Create a culture of high-quality, child-centred care

* Build strong relationships with external agencies, professionals, and families

* Be accountable for the home's budget, staffing, and overall performance

Requirements:

* Significant experience in a management role within a residential childcare setting

* Proven track record of supporting children with EBD

* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)

* Strong understanding of Ofsted requirements and the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015

* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

* Passionate about delivering outstanding care and creating a stable, supportive home environment
