Location: Newport, South Wales
Salary: £26,000 basic + £3,000+ achievable commission (sales & retentions)
Hours: 40 hours/week | Rota’d shifts between:
* Monday to Friday: 09:00–21:00
* Saturday: 09:00–18:00
* Sunday: 10:00–16:00
Contract Type: Permanent
Role Summary
Are you a confident communicator with a passion for sales and customer engagement? Our Client is looking for proactive and driven Business Development Representatives to help shape the future of our sales operations and contribute directly to our continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive sales through high-volume outbound calls, handle inbound enquiries, and make targeted cold calls to convert new audiences into long-term customers.
* Engage leads via email and live chat using persuasive, customer-focused messaging to convert quotes and boost retention.
* Proactively follow up on enquiries, build rapport, and maintain momentum to exceed sales targets.
* Process payments, ensuring accurate credit control and smooth customer transactions.
* Collaborate with Sales and General Managers to support campaigns, refine strategies, and help the team achieve growth goals.

Requirements
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales, telemarketing, or a similar role.
* Comfortable using CRM software and communicating via email and live chat.
* Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets with a proactive and resilient approach.
* Strong objection-handling and closing skills
