We are seeking a dynamic HR Manager to join our client's team within the Transport and Aviation sector. This role is critical in launching and managing a dedicated Training Academy that supports a key client contract, while also leading on wider HR initiatives, compliance, and colleague development.
Key Responsibilities - HR Manager
Develop and launch the client's Training Academy on time, within budget, and aligned to business objectives, using a blended learning approach (e.g. classroom, WebEx, eLearning, Teams, external providers).
Create and enhance training materials that support current needs and future growth, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Support colleague development through the delivery of "train the trainer" sessions and internal training events.
Drive the contract's People Plan, securing leadership engagement and ensuring effective implementation.
Monitor and report on mandatory training compliance, providing monthly updates to the Senior People Business Partner.
Coach and mentor managers on HR processes to ensure compliance and reduce business risk.
Enhance awareness of company benefits and maintain clear communication across frontline teams following group initiatives.
Compile and deliver monthly HR reports, including people metrics and updates.
Inform managers of relevant legal changes and advise on potential business impacts.
Qualifications & Requirements - HR Manager
HR Professional with experience in a commercially focussed environment.
Ability to deal with high volume and fast paced Business and re-prioritise regularly.
CIPD qualified.
Resilient, with ability to influence key decision makers and challenge when necessary.
Ability to drive the HR agenda with managers.
Team player and confidence to build relationships with the business and wider HR function.
Confident and articulate communicator.
Strong commitment to customer service; able to quickly establish credibility and build rapport and trust.
Ability to deliver information to managers that may be difficult and challenging.
Demonstrate understanding of the need for confidentiality.
Ability to make own decisions and see them through to conclusion.
Sound knowledge of employment law and best practice.
Flexible, adaptable, and able to travel across the region as required to meet the needs of the business.
Full UK driving licence essential.
