Sole Payroll & Pensions Administrator

? Location: Calne, Wiltshire (Office Based)

If you’re detail-driven, experienced with iTrent, and passionate about delivering accurate, high-quality payroll — this role offers an immediate start and real impact.

? Key Responsibilities

✅ Manage end-to-end monthly payroll for around 460 staff across two payrolls

✅ Oversee pension administration, including auto-enrolment and compliance

✅ Maintain employee data accurately within the iTrent system

✅ Handle payroll queries and provide timely support to staff and managers

✅ Liaise with HMRC, pension providers, and auditors as required

✅ Ensure compliance with all statutory and school policies

? Ideal Candidate Profile

? Proven experience running payroll independently (ideally in education or similar)

? Strong working knowledge of iTrent payroll software

? Confident handling pensions administration and UK payroll legislation

? Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills

? Reliable, discreet, and able to work autonomously
