An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Asset Building Surveyor to support a diverse public sector property portfolio, delivering capital works and ensuring compliance across a range of educational and operational assets.
Role Overview – Asset Building Surveyor:
Lead on condition surveys, inspections, and the delivery of planned maintenance and capital projects.
Administer contracts from inception to completion, ensuring quality assurance and programme delivery.
Provide technical advice to schools and building managers, supporting delegated funding responsibilities.
Liaise with senior stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to ensure compliance with procurement and health & safety regulations.Candidate Profile:
Proven experience as an Asset Building Surveyor within a public sector or education-focused environment.
Strong understanding of contract administration, procurement processes, and statutory compliance.
Skilled in stakeholder engagement, project management, and delivering capital works programmes.
Familiarity with systems such as Concerto, and confident in maintaining auditable project records.Qualifications:
HNC/HND or degree in Building Surveying (or equivalent).
