Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop electrical systems for bespoke automation and machinery projects

Create detailed electrical schematics, cable schedules, and panel layouts using EPLAN P8

Collaborate with mechanical, controls, and software engineers for system integration

Ensure compliance with machinery safety standards and electrical regulations

Produce technical documentation, BOMs, and support build/commissioning teams

Participate in safety reviews, risk assessments, and design verification activities

Essential Skills and Experience:

Strong experience in electrical design for automation or special purpose machinery

5+ years of hands-on experience with EPLAN P8

Proven background working on safety-critical projects in automotive, pharma, or food & beverage industries

In-depth understanding of EN (phone number removed) and machinery safety regulations

Ability to deliver high-quality documentation for manufacturing and commissioning

Comfortable working both independently and within cross-functional teams

Desirable Skills:

Knowledge of ISO 13849 or IEC 62061 (functional safety standards)

Experience with Siemens or Mitsubishi PLC hardware integration

Site commissioning or panel build support background
