Be confident teaching GCSE classes online
Provide a firm but fair approach
Have recent safeguarding training or willing to undergo Prospero's course

To be eligible for this role, the potential 1:1 Tutor must:

Hold the right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate SEN Tutor to provide one-to-one or small group tuition to pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and moderate learning difficulties.

About the Role:

Deliver tailored lessons in core subjects (English, Maths, etc.) to SEN pupils

Work with students at their pace, adapting your teaching style to their individual learning needs

Sessions may take place in pupils' homes, schools, or other agreed settings within Peterborough

Maintain regular communication with parents, carers, and other professionals involved in the pupil's education

Complete brief session reports and contribute to pupil progress reviews
