My client in the insurance sector, are looking for a Senior Account Executive to join their well established team. This pivotal role will play a key part in merging one existing office, into London North West, helping to integrate teams and maintain continuity of client service during the transition.
The role combines hands-on client management, business development, and line management of a team (predominantly Account Handlers). The successful candidate will manage a renewal book of c. £(Apply online only)k, drive business growth, and maintain high standards of service and compliance. While client development is important, exceptional team leadership and people management skills can be prioritised if a candidate excels in coaching, motivating, and developing a high-performing team.
Salary - Circa 70k per annum DOE
Hybrid working - North West London office
Hours - 9am-5.30pm

Experience in a similar Account Executive or Account Director role
Proven ability to retain and grow client portfolios, and identify, generate, and convert new business opportunities
Experience working directly with insurance markets and placement teams
Strong knowledge of compliance, FCA requirements, and Consumer Duty
Experience dealing with insurance markets and insurers, including placement activity.
Preferred experience but not essential
Professional insurance qualification (ACII) or working towards
Experience within Commercial General insurance
Exposure to team or business change, supporting colleagues through transitions
Demonstrated potential for future leadership or team management
