Quantity Surveyor required for a contractor who specialise in groundworks, civil engineering, and demolition.

Role Description

This is a full-time Groundworks Quantity Surveyor role with some flexibility for remote work.

As a Groundworks Quantity Surveyor at you will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with managing costs for groundworks projects. This includes cost control, preparing bills of quantities (BOQ), cost management, cost planning, and cost reporting. This hybrid role is primarily located in Wiltshire but offers the possibility of some work from home.

Qualifications

Cost Control, BOQ, Cost Management, Cost Planning, and Cost Reporting skills

Experience in groundworks quantity surveying

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as MS Excel and quantity surveying software

Relevant qualifications or certifications in quantity surveying or related field is a plus

Experience in the construction industry is a plus
