Teaching Assistant (2 Roles – Part-Time & Full-Time)

Pay rate:
£95.00 - £98.00 per day

Northfield

Hours:
Role 1 (Part-Time):
Monday & Tuesday – 9:30am to 4:15pm
Wednesday – 9:30am to 5:00pm

Role 2 (Full-Time):
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday – 9:30am to 4:15pm
Wednesday – 9:30am to 5:00pm

Start Date:
January 2026

Smart Education is currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants in the Northfield area.

This opportunity is within a specialist further education setting supporting young adults with complex needs through a personalised and holistic curriculum focused on independence, communication and preparation for adulthood.

Job requirements:
• Experience working with complex needs (essential)
• Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification
• Child & Adult DBS (or willingness to apply)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Role responsibilities:
• Support learners with profound and multiple learning difficulties
• Assist with personalised learning and daily routines
• Work collaboratively with teaching and specialist staff
• Promote independence, inclusion and wellbeing
