Catch Up Academy is seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to deliver high-quality, personalised learning to children and young people with additional needs.

The Role

You will work 1:1 (or in very small groups) with learners who may have EHCPs, supporting them to re-engage with education and make progress aligned to their individual outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver tailored teaching programmes aligned to EHCP outcomes

Adapt lessons to meet a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties

Build positive, trusting relationships with students

Provide brief session feedback and progress updates

Essential Requirements

Experience working with students with SEN

Strong understanding of differentiated teaching approaches

Reliable, professional, and student-centred

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

Desirable

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent tutoring experience

Experience working outside of mainstream education
