Job Title: Social Worker - Children Looked After - Knowsley

Pay Rate: £41,511 - £42,708 per annum

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting a Social Worker - Children Looked After on behalf of our esteemed client. We are proud to be working in partnership with our Knowsley Client to support their Children Looked After Team with this important appointment.

Responsibilities :
In this role, you will support children in care as a Children Looked After Social Worker, taking over cases from the Initial Hearing stage. You will manage court-related responsibilities without involvement in Child Protection or Child in Need cases. The role typically involves handling a maximum of three to four sets of legal proceedings simultaneously. You will also contribute to permanency planning for children, ensuring long-term stability and well-being. This includes preparing reports, attending court hearings, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to secure the best outcomes for each child.

Hold a Social Work England registration.
Be eligible to work in the UK.
Hold a full UK driving licence.
Social Work Qualification, degree or equivalent.
At least 2 years' experience as a social worker within children's services.Reasonable Adjustments:
