Description

Key responsibilities:

Develop detailed electrical designs, schematics, and layouts for industrial and manufacturing applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with project specifications and timelines.
Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed designs.
Support the installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems on-site as needed.
Ensure all designs comply with relevant electrical standards and regulations.
Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and external stakeholders.
Maintain accurate documentation of designs, revisions, and project progress.
Identify opportunities for design improvements and cost-saving measures.
Supporting group projects with the potential for some travel to different sites.Profile

A successful Electrical Design Engineer should have:

A degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Hands-on experience in electrical design within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD or similar tools.
A strong understanding of electrical standards, codes, and regulations.
Problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering practical and efficient solutions.
The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
