An established and expanding design and build, refurbishment, and fit out contractor is looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team in Manchester.

The business delivers projects across commercial, education, leisure, retail, and industrial sectors, with individual project values ranging from £500k up to £10m. With a strong pipeline of secured work and a high level of repeat business, this is a company known for stability and long-term career development.

This is a Manchester-based role, supported by regular site involvement across the North West.

The role

Supporting Senior QSs on design & build, refurbishment, and fit out projects

Assisting with subcontractor procurement and package management

Supporting cost control, variations, and change management

Assisting with valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts

Helping produce cost reports and forecasts

Working closely with site, design, and client teams

About you

Experience in an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Trainee QS role

Exposure to D&B, refurbishment, or fit out projects

Ambitious and keen to progress

Package

Competitive salary, dependent on experience

Clear progression within a growing contractor

Exposure to projects valued up to £10m
