Electronics Assembly Inspector

Hourly rate: £ 12.83
Location: Andover
Hours: Monday - Thursday: 06:00 - 14:15 & Friday: 06:00 - 14:00

As an Electronics Assembly Inspector, you will be responsible for the inspection and testing of high-reliability PCB assemblies (PCBA) for some of the UK’s most advanced sectors – including Aerospace, Medical, Automotive, and Defence. You will use a mix of automated testing equipment and visual inspection techniques to ensure products meet stringent quality standards.

Electronics Assembly Inspector Responsibilities:

* Conduct inspections under microscope and via camera systems

* Calibrate and maintain inspection and testing equipment

* Investigate and report on visual defects and customer returns

* Communicate effectively with SMT and soldering teams on any quality concerns

* Maintain documentation and adhere to internal quality procedures and standards

Electronics Assembly Inspector Requirements:

* Previous experience in inspection roles within manufacturing or electronics

* Skilled in visual inspection, with or without microscopes

* GCSE-level education or equivalent

* Competent with computer-based reporting and inspection systems

* A strong team player with a meticulous eye for detail

Desirable skills:

* AOI (Automatic Optical Inspection)

* FPT (Flying Probe Test)

* QUINS (Quality Inspection Systems)

* X-Ray and Visual Inspection Tools
