An exciting opportunity has arisen with a prestigious architectural practice, renowned for delivering complex, large-scale projects. They are currently seeking a Senior Architect to join their London-based team, working on high-profile developments within the aviation sector. This role is ideal for an architect with a strong background in technical detailing, specification writing, and ideally, familiarity with Heathrow or Gatwick standards.
As a Senior Architect, you will lead the design and delivery of technically demanding aviation projects, ensuring compliance with strict industry standards and regulations. Working within a multi-disciplinary team, your input will be crucial in developing innovative and functional design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead architectural design and specification in accordance with current regulations, project deliverables, and airport-specific guidelines.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
Manage architectural contributions across multi-disciplinary projects, overseeing programme, budget, quality, and client relationships.
Uphold quality assurance and compliance processes throughout all phases of project delivery.About the role

Registered Architect (RIBA/ARB)
Proven track record in delivering aviation sector projects, with working knowledge of Heathrow and/or Gatwick standards.
Strong technical proficiency in design, detailing, and writing specifications.
Experience leading teams through all RIBA work stages (0-7).
Excellent attention to detail and robust understanding of technical requirements.
Proficient in Autodesk Revit (3D)
Able and willing to obtain airport security clearance (UK passport required).Package & Benefits
