We are looking to recruit a proactive and organised Scan4Safety Stock Management Assistant to support the efficient management of clinical stock at Baguley House, Wythenshawe Hospital. This role is key to ensuring the right products are available at the right time to support safe, high-quality patient care.

Working as part of the wider logistics and clinical support team, you will play an important role in the Scan4Safety programme by accurately managing stock using barcode scanning technology and supporting continuous improvement in stock control processes.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

* Receive, store and issue clinical stock in line with Scan4Safety processes.

* Use barcode scanning systems to accurately record stock movements.

* Maintain appropriate stock levels, identifying shortages, overstocking, or expired items.

* Carry out regular stock checks and participate in stocktakes.

* Ensure stock is stored safely, securely, and in accordance with infection prevention and health & safety standards.

* Liaise with clinical teams, procurement, and logistics colleagues to resolve stock-related queries.

* Support audits, data accuracy checks, and service improvement initiatives linked to Scan4Safety.

To be considered for this role:

* Excellent customer service, organisation, and communication skills.

* Experience in Customer Service and/or Retail would put applicant at a distinct advantage with Stock or Inventory Management highly desirable but not essential.

* Physically able to work long hours on your feet.

* English and Maths qualifications desirable (GCSE or above).

* Ability to quickly learn the role and work at pace.
