KS1 Primary Teacher – Waltham Forest

Location – Waltham Forest
Position - Full-time (Monday-Friday)

We are working with welcoming primary schools across Waltham Forest who are looking for a dedicated KS1 Teacher who can make phonics purposeful, maths meaningful and learning genuinely exciting.
You’ll play a key role in building strong foundations in literacy, numeracy and confidence, all within a supportive team that values creativity, consistency and care. What you’ll be doing:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons for KS1 in line with the National Curriculum
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive
Adapt teaching to support SEND and EAL learners
Manage behaviour effectively with clear routines and expectations
Work closely with TAs, parents and senior leaders to support pupil development
Uphold safeguarding and contribute to the wider school community
What we’re looking for:
The right fit for this role will be someone with:
UK QTS
Recent KS1 experience
Strong phonics knowledge
A calm, confident classroom presence
The ability to build positive relationships quickly

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
