Head of Sociology:
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join one of our amazing schools in Wolverhampton as the Head of Sociology starting in September. This leadership role involves overseeing the Sociology department, guiding curriculum development, and fostering a stimulating academic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies in Sociology
- Teach Sociology to KS3/4/5
- Lead and mentor faculty members within the Sociology department
- Collaborate with other department heads to ensure interdisciplinary approaches
- Stay current with trends and advancements in the field of Sociology
- Manage departmental budget and resources effectively
Requirements:
- Advanced degree in Sociology or related field
- Previous experience in teaching Sociology
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to educate and inspire students
- Proven track record of academic excellence in Sociology
Salary:
£30,000.00 - £46,525.00 Annually (Actual)
TMS-UPS plus TLR2b £5,349
