Role Overview
We are engaging an experienced CAD Engineer for a short-term contract opportunity, supporting the verification, tracing, and updating of plant P&ID drawings. This role is hands-on and delivery-focused, involving field walkdowns to ensure drawings accurately reflect the physical plant, and updating documentation to produce clear, as-built drawings.

Key Responsibilities
• Trace and verify pipework against existing plant drawings
• Conduct field walkdowns to confirm accuracy of P&ID drawings
• Update and redline P&ID drawings to reflect as-built conditions
• Produce clear, accurate, and timely documentation of changes
• Collaborate with site engineers and project teams to resolve discrepancies

Required Skills & Experience
• Proven experience working as a CAD Engineer in an industrial or plant environment
• Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD and P&ID drawings
• Ability to carry out site verification and field walkdowns
• Strong attention to detail and methodical approach
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently

Desirable Experience
• Experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D
• Previous work in chemical, pharma, utilities, or manufacturing plants
• Understanding of piping specifications, valve types, and instrumentation symbols
