Are you a motivated Food Technology Teacher with a passion for nutrition, sustainability, and real-world skills?

A flourishing secondary school in Cheltenham is looking for a Food Technology Teacher to join their dedicated DT team in September 2025. You’ll play a key role in delivering practical, health-focused food education in ambition-driven lessons that meet both academic benchmarks and life skills.

The Role
Teach Food & Nutrition to KS3 and KS4, inspire culinary creativity, and embed education about sustainable food production and healthy living. You’ll contribute to the confidence and competence of students through cooking, recipes, and government-awarded qualifications.

Key responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering practical lessons with menu creation

*

Managing food safety, hygiene, and ingredient sourcing

*

Preparing students for Food Tech GCSE coursework and exams

*

Leading cooking clubs, Bake-Off competitions, and food fairs

*

Liaising with local food charities or community kitchens
