Job Title: School Caretaker

Job Type: Full-Time, Long-Term (Monday to Friday)

Remedy is a specialist recruitment agency working with schools across London. We are currently looking for a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to join a secondary school in Lewisham, South East London on a full-time, long-term basis.

Job Overview:
As a School Caretaker, you will play a key role in ensuring the school site is safe, secure, clean, and well maintained. This is a hands-on position that requires someone who takes pride in their work and is happy to get stuck in with a variety of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Opening and closing the school each day

Carrying out basic repairs and general maintenance

Ensuring the school is clean, safe, and tidy

Managing deliveries and maintaining stock of supplies

Reporting any major issues to the site manager or leadership team

Ensuring health and safety standards are met at all times

Requirements:

Previous experience as a School Caretaker or in a similar maintenance role

A proactive, can-do attitude and strong sense of responsibility

Good communication skills and the ability to work independently
