English Teacher - Sunderland

CER Education is currently recruiting a passionate and committed English Teacher to work in a lovely secondary school in Sunderland, starting ASAP.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school with a positive learning environment. The role is expected to run until at least the summer holidays, with the potential to be extended beyond this.

The Role:

Teaching English across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
Planning and delivering engaging lessons
Marking and assessing in line with school policies
Supporting pupils to achieve their full potential
Working collaboratively within a welcoming English department

Who Can Apply:

Suitable for ECTs and experienced teachers
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching English in UK secondary schools (training placements considered for ECTs)
Strong classroom management skills

£300 sign-on bonus if you are currently registered with another agency*
£250 referral fee for every successful referral*
Ongoing support from a dedicated CER consultant
