Job Title: Commercial Gas Engineer

Location: Nationwide (occasional travel and overnight stays required)
Salary: £45,000 per annum + Overtime (paid at time and a half)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8 hours per day)
Benefits: Company van, fuel card, 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Gas Engineer to join our client's team. In this role, you’ll work across a variety of commercial and retail sites, delivering both reactive and planned maintenance, as well as installation works when required.

This is a diverse position that will see you attend client sites to carry out urgent repairs, routine servicing, and occasional installation projects. The contract covers sites across the UK, so occasional travel and overnight stays will be required.

Key Responsibilities:

Attend reactive maintenance callouts across commercial and retail sites

Carry out planned maintenance and servicing of gas systems and appliances

*

Assist with installation and upgrade projects when needed

*

Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard and in line with safety regulations

*

Complete all relevant documentation and reports

*

Liaise professionally with clients and site contacts

*

Travel to various sites nationwide as required, with occasional overnight stays.

Requirements:

*

Qualified Commercial Gas Engineer (relevant ACS qualifications)

*

Proven experience in a similar role within commercial or retail environments

*

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

*

Full UK driving licence

*

Good communication and customer service skills
