This organisation is seeking a forward-thinking Design Engineer to join their high-performing team, delivering cutting-edge solutions across a range of industries.

As Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

Leading and mentoring a team of mechanical and electronic engineers
Managing multiple design projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
Creating detailed designs using SolidWorks, applying DFM and Value Engineering principles
Conducting feasibility studies, prototyping, testing, and validation of new and existing designs
Collaborating with production, software, quality, and aftersales teams to ensure seamless integration
Staying current with industry standards and ensuring compliance with ISO and regulatory requirements
Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting progress to senior stakeholders
As Design Engineer, your skills and experience will include:

HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
Proven experience in bespoke machine design and project delivery
Strong leadership and project management capabilities
Proficiency in SolidWorks and engineering calculations
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
Ideally, experience with commissioning and site-based engineering
