Class 2 (Category C) HGV Driver – York

Location: Hessay, York
Salary: £14.50 - £15
Hours: Full-time | Monday–Friday

We are a well-established and growing recycling logistics company, providing essential transport services to support sustainable waste and recycling operations. We’re looking for a Class 2 (Category C) HGV Driver to join our reliable and professional driving team.

The Role

* Driving Class 2 vehicles collecting and transporting recyclable materials

* Local and regional multi-drop or site-to-site work

* Safe loading and unloading (training provided where required)

* Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reports

* Ensuring compliance with tachograph, WTD, and health & safety regulations

* Representing the company professionally with customers and site staff

What We’re Looking For

* Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence

* Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

* Previous Class 2 experience required (12 months experience)

* Good knowledge of UK road transport regulations

* Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-focused

* Positive attitude and strong work ethic
