We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our team within a social housing setting. As part of a dynamic team, you will be providing essential support to skilled trades, including joiners, electricians, and gas engineers. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that work on site runs smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the maintenance and development of social housing properties.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist joiners, electricians, and gas engineers in carrying out repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks.

*

Prepare materials and tools for the trades team.

*

Ensure the work environment is clean and safe by managing waste, debris, and materials.

*

Support with lifting and moving heavy items as required.

*

Maintain and secure equipment, tools, and materials on site.

*

Follow health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment at all times.

*

Ensure all tasks are carried out to a high standard and within the specified timeframes.

*

Provide general support and assistance to the trades teams as needed.

Essential Criteria:

*

Valid CSCS Card – This is a mandatory requirement for the role.

*

Previous experience working in a social housing environment or construction setting.

*

Experience supporting trades such as joiners, electricians, and gas engineers.

*

Ability to work well as part of a team.

*

Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.

*

Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor tasks.

*

Familiar with health and safety regulations on site.

Desirable Criteria:

Knowledge of basic construction techniques and practices.

First aid training.
