Location: Denham

Note: Due to the remote business location, the ideal candidate must have their own transport. 

Salary: £27,000 - £33,000

Overtime: Up to £8,000 per year of overtime available

Shifts: Monday - Thursday 8 am-5 pm, Friday 8 am-12noon

Your Role:

As a Finishing Operative at our Denham site, you’ll work with our advanced finishing plant, ensuring high-quality finishing processes that are integral to our ejector seats. 

Are you detail-oriented with a background in manufacturing or engineering? We are looking for a Finishing Operative to join our team. In this role, you will operate barrel tumbling and vibratory finishing equipment to prepare metallic surfaces for further processing. You will also ensure components meet required quality standards, follow safety regulations, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform vibration deburring and finishing operations

Interpret engineer drawings and process specifications

Handle, inspect, and pack components for internal transport

Maintain safety and quality standards

What We’re Looking For:

Ability to read engineer drawings 

Basic manufacturing and engineering experience

Familiarity with hand tools and measuring equipment

A team player with strong attention to details
