About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Laser Operative to join a reputable manufacturing business based in Beeston. This is a permanent night shift position operating on a 4 on / 4 off rota, offering excellent earning potential and a great work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor CNC laser cutting machines.

*

Read and interpret engineering drawings and cutting specifications.

*

Ensure components are cut to correct dimensions and quality standards.

*

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery.

*

Monitor the cutting process and make adjustments as needed for optimal performance.

*

Carry out quality checks and inspect finished parts for accuracy.

*

Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

*

Proven experience operating laser cutting machines in a production or manufacturing environment.

*

Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.

*

Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

*

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

*

Comfortable working night shifts on a 4 on / 4 off basis.

Knowledge of health & safety procedures within a factory setting.
