An experienced Operations Manager is wanted to head up a highly skilled team at their growing manufacturing facility in Sunderland.
The company manufactures a range of specialist equipment for a global customer base spanning multiple industry sectors.
A key part of a global engineering group, they are taking the next exciting steps in their business scale-up and are looking for the right leader to help them on this journey.

What You’ll Bring to the Team
* Proven operational leadership within an engineering/manufacturing environment, in a position such as Operations Director, Site Lead, General Manager etc
* Strategic thinking with strong leadership skills
* A proven track record of managing day-to-day operations while also contributing to long-term corporate growth strategies.
* Degree educated in a relevant field is a benefit, but not as important as the experience you’ll bring with you
What You’ll Be Doing
* Overseeing all operations at the manufacturing site, effectively managing the business as it scales up.
* Developing a high-performing team, fostering a positive, collaborative culture.
* Leading the team through the various challenges of a new factory set-up
* Working with the Board to develop and implement growth strategies
* Implementing process improvements & cost-saving initiatives (without compromising quality) to enhance operational scalability
* Forging strong relationships with key suppliers & customers
