The Role – SEN Teacher

I am seeking a skilled and empathetic SEN Teacher to work in a specialist provision in Havering that caters to students with complex needs, including visual impairments and ASD. You will lead a small, well-supported class and be responsible for delivering a tailored, multi-sensory curriculum that meets the individual needs of your pupils. The ideal SEN Teacher will have a strong background in differentiated teaching and an understanding of assistive technology or strategies to support visual impairments. You will be working closely with a multidisciplinary team including therapists, support staff, and external agencies to provide a holistic learning environment. Patience, creativity, and a commitment to inclusive education are key.
