The Role

Teaching English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4

Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons

Supporting pupils with reading, writing and analytical skills

Preparing students for GCSE examinations

Maintaining positive behaviour and high classroom expectations

Candidate Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential

English subject specialism

Experience teaching English within UK secondary schools

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Passion for literacy, language and student achievement

Ability to adapt to different school settings
