As Category Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Leading a team of category buyers
Leading outsourced spend for a key commodity category
Managing strategic supplier relationships and driving cost efficiencies
Shaping Make vs Buy strategies and transformation initiatives
Overseeing complex sourcing evaluations and negotiations
Securing a global supply base aligned with performance targets
As Category Manager, your experience will include:

5 years’ experience in Supply Chain / Strategic Procurement within manufacturing/engineering 
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams
Ideally CIPS qualified 
Strong project and change management skills
Experience interpreting engineering drawings and managing international supply chains
