Our client is currently seeking a Planning CAD Technician to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves contributing to the planning team's efforts in feasibility design work with a focus on highways projects and 2D design using AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing detailed 2D design drawings using AutoCAD
Supporting the planning team in developing feasibility design work
Working on highways projects, including those under s278/38 agreements
Ensuring all drawings and designs meet industry standards and client requirements
Collaborating with other team members to deliver high-quality planning and design solutions
Revising drawings and plans to accommodate changes and updates as needed
Contributing to the successful completion of planning projects

Job Requirements:

Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D design work
Experience working on highways projects, including s278/38 agreements
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design and documentation
Ability to collaborate effectively with a planning team
Understanding of feasibility design principles
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
