Customer Service Administrator/Basic First-Line Support & Troubleshooting

Worminghall, Aylesbury - office based, £28,000 - £30,000 - strong benefits

As the Product Support Adviser, you will be the friendly and professional voice that customers hear first. Your core function is to efficiently manage inbound telephone enquiries and provide support related to product use, diagnosis, repair, or maintenance

Key Responsibilities:

* First Point of Contact: Handle all inbound calls, gathering accurate customer information and logging details into the CRM database

* Resolution & Direction: Resolve customer queries at the first point of contact whenever possible. Where not, accurately direct the enquiry to the appropriate technical or support team

* Hardware Focus: Act as the initial contact for hardware-related issues, specifically supporting key hardware platforms - full training provided

* Trend Identification: Help identify and report trends in software and hardware issues to improve service delivery

* Administration: Maintain accurate records of all information and advice given in the CRM system to agreed standards

Skills & Experience You Bring

* Excellent spoken & written communication skills with a professional telephone manner

* Positive demeanour and professional approach to customer interaction

* Ability to follow processes and accurately identify/escalate errors

* Basic understanding of IT systems

Computer Skills:

* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems

Qualifications/Experience:

* Previous Customer Service experience

* English GCSE or equivalent
