Technical Consultant - Power & Energy Sector

About the Role
We are seeking a Technical Consultant to support clients in the electricity sector-including distribution, transmission, retail, and generation-by providing strategic advice on regulatory, economic, and technical challenges. This role focuses on delivering high-quality consulting services and fostering strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new consulting opportunities, building networks to exchange information and insights.
Develop and present value-added solutions to clients, employing effective sales and negotiation techniques.
Propose and support research and development projects, including budgeting and project management strategies.
Conduct risk assessments to ensure project delivery aligns with contractual agreements.
Lead the development of new processes and tools, mentoring junior colleagues.
Manage projects independently, providing guidance to less experienced professionals.
Address complex problems with innovative solutions.
Qualifications and Experience
Master's degree in electrical engineering, power systems, or a related field.
Proven experience in the electric power industry, with knowledge of market systems and equipment.
Strong background in power system studies and performance analysis.
Proficiency in simulation tools such as Digsilent PowerFactory, PSCAD, ETAP, PSS/E, or EMTP.
Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex data effectively
