Description

Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records and ledgers.
Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and in a timely manner.
Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.
Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies where necessary.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and summaries for management.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Provide administrative support to the accounting and finance team as required.Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

A background in accounting or finance, ideally within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
Strong numerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience using accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.Job Offer

A salary in the range of £27,000 to £30,000, dependent on experience.
6 month FTC potential to go permanent
